As an events professional, Michelle Munro (she/her) helps organizations and individuals plan and execute events of all varieties and sizes, bringing peace of mind to the process.

Michelle holds the view that each event is as unique as the people who attend them, and has a passion for inclusive event design. Michelle believes that true hospitality means removing barriers to participation. Creating environments that say “you are welcome here” to participants and attendees means considering even the smallest of details, as well as genuine conversation and relationship building. Michelle works with her clients to understand their needs, and to suggest possibilities that will help maximize their events potential to be both successful AND meaningful. Creating gatherings where community can be created on the spot has always been a key motivator for Michelle. She does this by drawing on her leadership experience in the not for profit sector where for over a decade she worked with people who had a broad range of needs and values to support. She has been able to harness her skills and observations in community building and apply them to a career in the events industry.

When Michelle works on an event, she also aims to include and suggest diverse vendors and suppliers to enrich your event–such as catering, decor, and audio visual teams. Michelle has created strong connections with a variety of local vendors and suppliers. It’s one of her favourite aspects of working in the events industry–building relationships with people who are passionate about their products and services.

"I had the pleasure of working with Michelle who was the on-site event coordinator for the unforgettable Evergreen Market. From the very beginning, Michelle exuded a feeling of friendship, and passion that instantly put us at ease. As a vendor participating in the festival, her unwavering support and genuine enthusiasm for our success were truly heartwarming. She not only ensured that every aspect of the market ran smoothly but went above and beyond to make us feel valued and appreciated. Throughout the festival, Michelle consistently demonstrated her dedication to making it an unforgettable experience for both vendors and attendees alike. Her attention to detail was impeccable."

Michelle is also a meditation instructor and has practiced meditation for a large part of her adult life. She credits this for her calming presence and approach, and her ability to adapt quickly and “dance” with the ever changing nature of events. She knows that events can be very stressful, and that creating peace of mind in the process for her clients is more than having a comprehensive “to do” list–it’s a whole approach and way of being.
